Privacy policy.
We use your information to answer questions, arrange appointments, process payments and, only when you choose it, send appointment-related text messages.

Information we collect
When you contact us or book, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, service choice, appointment details and messages. Our website may collect basic technical and usage information needed to operate and protect the site. Payment details are handled through the payment provider shown at checkout; this site does not ask you to send card details in a message.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to you, manage your appointment, provide services, process payments, prevent misuse and keep records needed for business operations. We use your phone number for appointment texts only if you separately opt in.
SMS privacy
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data, mobile number, or personal information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from any data sharing for marketing. We may use service providers, including our messaging provider, solely to deliver and manage appointment-related messages on our behalf. SMS message frequency varies with appointment activity, typically 1–4 messages per appointment. Message and data rates may apply. See our SMS program terms for opt-in and opt-out details.
Service providers and retention
We share only information needed by our website, booking, payment and messaging providers to provide the service you requested. We keep records as long as reasonably needed for appointments, support, legal obligations and security, then delete or de-identify them according to our operational requirements.
Website and advertising measurement
We use Google Analytics to measure visits, booking progress and confirmed payments, and to evaluate advertising results through our linked Google Ads account. Browser identifiers, campaign and click identifiers, page information and booking events may be processed for this purpose. Campaign information may be attached to your booking or contact request in SABSUS. We do not include your name, phone number, email address or message text in these website analytics events, and we do not enable personalized advertising through this website measurement.
Measurement is enabled unless you turn it off in Privacy settings. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) by disabling this measurement, and we keep an earlier opt-out. Closing the notice only dismisses it; it is not recorded as express consent. You can turn measurement off at any time without affecting your booking, payment, callback or SMS choice. SMS consent remains a separate, optional choice at booking. Information about Google’s processing is available at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
For a confirmed appointment following an advertising click, SABSUS may send the original click identifier, a pseudonymous booking identifier, confirmation time and page URL without query parameters to the relevant advertising platform: Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok or OpenAI Ads. This server-side measurement does not include your name, phone number, email address, service details or message content. Events are deduplicated per appointment and platform. We honor measurement opt-outs and Global Privacy Control at booking, do not treat closing the notice as express consent, and request restricted data use or disable advertising personalization where supported. A visit, message or unconfirmed booking is not sent as a confirmed appointment.
Backstage Beauty mobile app
This policy also applies to the Backstage Beauty Android and iOS apps. You can browse public salon information without signing in. When you use an account, we process your account identifier, name, email or phone number and sign-in information to authenticate you, associate your bookings and show information you are authorized to access. SABSUS provides the application infrastructure, and Google Firebase provides authentication and notification delivery. Authorized salon team members may also access business records needed for their work.
Optional device features
Camera and selected-file access are used only when you choose to scan, capture or attach content. Photos, videos, documents and audio you choose to send are processed for that request. Microphone access supports recordings you initiate and in-app calls; call audio, destination numbers and call metadata are processed by the communications provider, including Twilio, and call recordings may be retained when the call interface tells you that recording is required. Android calls end when you leave the app screen. Notifications use a device notification token when you enable them. Bluetooth, nearby-device and NFC access support compatible printers and payment readers. Biometric verification is handled by the device; we do not receive your fingerprint or face template.
The Android release temporarily disables courier location tracking. Payment features may request location while you use them for payment-provider security and eligibility checks. Payments are processed by Stripe or the provider identified at checkout. Payment records and receipts may be retained for bookings and accounting; payment credentials are handled by the payment provider. Basic app, device, error and security information may be processed to operate the service and prevent misuse. Internet requests use encrypted connections.
Delete an account or request deletion of data
You can request deletion of your Backstage Beauty account and associated personal data, or selected data without deleting your account, on our account and data deletion page. You do not need the app installed to make a request. We may need to verify that the request is yours. Records required for financial, legal, fraud-prevention or unresolved-service obligations may be retained; we will explain any applicable retention when handling your request.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete your information by emailing backstagebeautyla@gmail.com. You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP. Booking a service does not require agreeing to SMS.
